We collect as little as we can: what we need to run your account, your plan and your downloads. We don't use advertising or analytics trackers, and we don't sell data.
1. Who is responsible
[your full name or company name], [address], [country] is responsible for your data (the "controller"). Contact: motionloveheadquarters@gmail.com.
2. What we collect and why
- Your account
- When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, profile picture link and Google account ID. We use them to create and run your account. Legal basis: our contract with you.
- Staying signed in
- A cookie called
ml_sessionkeeps you signed in for up to 30 days, or until you log out. We store only a scrambled copy (a hash) of it. It's strictly necessary, so it doesn't need consent. - Your plan and payments
- Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. We keep your Stripe customer ID, your plan, its status and its renewal date. Legal basis: our contract, and accounting law for payment records.
- Your downloads
- We record which Originals you download and when, to apply the daily limits and let you download them again. Legal basis: our contract.
- Waitlist and new-drops emails
- If you give us your email for the waitlist or for new drops, we keep it to send you those emails. Legal basis: your consent; ask us any time and we'll remove it.
- Security
- Your IP address is used briefly, in memory, to limit repeated requests and stop abuse. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site safe.
- In your browser
- Besides the sign-in cookie, the site uses your browser's session storage only to show a short message after you move between pages. It's deleted when you close the tab.
3. Services that receive data
- Google: sign-in. The site's fonts are also loaded from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
- Stripe: payments, invoices and the page where you manage or cancel your plan.
- jsDelivr: delivers the animation libraries the site uses, and receives your IP address when they load.
- X (Twitter): only when you press Play on a creator's video does X's player load. X may then set its own cookies.
- Our hosting provider [named when the site goes live]: stores the site and its database.
Google, Stripe and X may process data outside the EU, including in the United States. They do so under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
4. How long we keep it
- Account details and download records: until you delete your account.
- Sign-in sessions: 30 days at most, or until you log out.
- Payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Waitlist and new-drops emails: until you ask us to remove them.
5. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent. You can delete your account yourself from your account page; for anything else, email motionloveheadquarters@gmail.com and we'll reply within a month. You can also complain to your country's data protection authority.
6. Children
MotionLoved isn't meant for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
7. Changes
We'll post any changes on this page and update the date above. For important changes, we'll email account holders.
